just some little cuties we've had in the studio...
Miss 'A' turned 1 a while back and came to see us
you gotta love a tutu with an attitude!
this is from miss 'G's' 6 month shoot. She's ready for her 9 month shoot. (i'm a little behind)
and check out the socks on this little man! He was very proud of his socks!
mr. 'L' has the sweetest personality and the best smile.

i recently read the coolest article in my new favorite magazine body + soul about 'feel good' strategies. one strategy that really caught my attention was this....
Look At A Baby. According to a study published in the journal neurolmage, when women looked at photos of smiling babies, a part of the brain associated with pleasure lit up.
so let me share a cute baby to light up your afternoon :-)
you're welcome....

we celebrated pi day today. (well actually we celebrated it yesterday too) (i had walnut yesterday and cherry today) (celebrating pi day twice in one weekend is not necessarily part of a traditional weight loss program) Any way i'll bet you didn't know today was pi day.... but if you think about it (or google it which is a much easier way of thinking) you'll say geez, i wish i would have known!
we go to the best place in richmond to get pie to celebrate pi day. if you've never had Norma's cherry pie from the Readmore you don't know much about pie. :-) I suggest you take yourself there for lunch tomorrow and check it out. I would also recommend the potato soup it tastes just like what my mom used to make!
okay so clockwise we have walnut, cherry and a new favorite sugar cream pie. yummy!
see how happy jade is about pi day
try it, i promise you will have a new place you'll love to go for lunch!

so, what do ya think of our new look?
what i'm really excited about is that we've combined everything into one big mess place. this makes it much easier for our wonderful blog readers to see all the cuties we photograph in one fell swoop. and us blog posters get to do a lot of posting in one fell swoop. (i love that expression) (say it three times and it starts to not make sense!!) so..... i hope you enjoy it.

Chris came to us from rushville high school
look at these blue eyes...
and of course the drum shot.... okay really it's just sticks but it represents that he plays the drums.... :)
Next we have Blake from Richmond. his locations were so cool. we found this building that made him look like he was in mexico (no palm trees just an old stucco building)
then we have the gas building before it was torn down but after they pushed some dirt around
and my favorite.... the haunted house.....
Miss LeAnna is from randolph southern and she brought some fun with her!
look how cute she is! she's just as much fun as she looks!
her mom and dad and boyfriend came on the shoot with her and we were laughing the whole time!
love this shot of the two of them he's like....'thats my woman' and she's like 'he's so lucky' ;-)
love this one too!
next is Kasey from richmond she has amazing blue eyes
and a cute smile...
and she looked great just hangin' out on the couch
joe is from richmond too....
tough guy pose (i just made that up.... he's really nice. he might be tough tho. i didn't push him to find out)
one of my favorite things about joe is he has the best eyebrows ever! (call me weird... i love to photograph expressive eyebrows)

okay, first I need to start this post with an explanation. This is officially the senior blog. This blog was designed for our hot and stylish seniors to strut their stuff. Well.......
Facebook can only feed from one blog and the senior blog is that magic blog so I'm posting everything on there... for now.
So, with all of that said.... here are a bunch of families that we worked with last fall (lots of them had amazing christmas cards which we love to do!)
we love this family!! they come in every year and we get to play with these adorable boys and it's just not enough! i could chase them with a camera every day! :-)
mom put these two images on a purse so if you see her around town with these cuties say hey!!!!
this family comes every year too. these kiddo's are so fun. The little man walks in the studio and kicks off his shoes and takes his coat off right away. he cracks me up!
love the sweet one!
and our third christmas card family who also come every year. Last year the little girly was tiny and sleepy
my how they change!!
another card family
i shot at their farm with cows and stuff. how cool is that!
one more and i'll stop for now.
these guys are a blast and they come every year. this is the first time we've done a card tho and i absolutely love the image for the front of the card....
the quote was 'sometimes fun is just being together. -wes fessler.
obviously big brother plays football but he plays baseball too so we had fun with it....
and last of all. Miss 'A' really didn't want to put this jacket on for us and she really didn't want the hood so we got a pouty look that lasted for 30 seconds. then she took me in to show me her dollies in her room. she's such a sweetie but this image just makes me say 'aaawww'.
i have lots more families to post i promise! :-)
