Today is a good day to address a question I'm getting a lot lately. "What should we wear?"
I always say keep it simple. Stay away from stripes and words (old navy or colts etc). Everyone doesn't need to wear the same color (matchy, matchy) but same color families are great. I think simple lets you focus on the relationship/expressions which is what we are trying to capture. I'll show some images to help you understand what I'm saying. This info doesn't always apply for children. I love silly striped tights with a polka dot skirt and a crazy hat on a little girl. And seniors are totally exempt from this (except for the stripes :-) )
Here are examples

I love how one girl is in pants, one in a dress and the youngest in a pattern.
this one works great too (omg.... mom has a stripe on her shirt) (can you tell the youngest was totally uninterested in what we were doing)

I love how this is all in the same color 'family'. The orange draws your eye a little but with the fall colors it works great.

I like white in the studio. Sometimes it looks kind of glowy (is that a word?) outside, say in the park.

If you have any questions just email us or ask in the comment section so everyone can learn from your question. :-)
Have I mentioned that I love our new sites? :-)
