three for three

this little cutie comes to see us every year for her birthday.

this year she's three (you probably already guessed). when you're still new at it, three fingers are not that easy to hold up. and it takes concentration....

she brought the cutest little props..... i think grandma got her the pink cowboy boots which are a MUST for every little girls wardrobe!!!!

and then of course we have the cutest rain coat in the world!!!! (oh, and check out the shoes) we love girlie girls!!!!!

for everyone who has been in the studio this is the 2 year old version of the cutie who hangs on our bathroom door. 

for those who haven't been in the studio here he is 2 years ago....

luckily (for Dad) we didn't have this type of accident at our most recent shoot....  ;-)

'love is brighter than sunshine'

love these kiddo's! they come in every fall.....

this year they brought their cute little cousin. she wasn't so sure about the whole deal. one minute she'd cry the next she'd smile and do something cute...

Our sweet little man 'L' who you've seen on here many times before turned one in december.

His parents wanted something really special for his invitations so we came up with a design based on the colors mommy was using for his party.

 of course the contact info has been changed to our contact info. :-)

His mom brought the cake and he brought the silliness......

we printed these cards on a beautiful linen paper and  the envelopes come with as well.

These are fun to do at any age 2, 3, 10.... why not make your cutie feel extra special on their special day??!!!

this family was amazing! (i know i always say that, but i do mean it) . and this is a huge post but i have so many favorites......

mom brought the girls to the studio to capture their different personalities.

Miss 'D' is a little cowgirl  (i think she prefers cowboy...  :-)   ) (even tho her hat and boots are pink)

she was trying not to smile and i love the mischievousness of this image (and yes i had to look up how to spell that word. did you know merriam-webster has a website that has audio pronunciations for words... how cool is that!!!)

and then it was time for 'the princess'

mommy brought a tutu and i had to be very persuasive to get her to put it on but when she did......

i love three year olds. look at her little elbows you can still see the toddler in her.  at three it's still there. at four it's gone. they grow so fast!!!!

we also did a shoot at their farm

the tractor tire was mom's idea...... she chose this as fine art for her wall and then we used it on the front of their christmas card too

okay last two images.  next to photographing babies and children i LOVE babies and children with their animals....

2 rockin' little guys

this is the 3rd year that we've been able to hang out with these two cuties. talk about growing fast!!!

every year we make them a christmas card that the family loves :-)

this year will be the cutest yet.......

just one 'cause I know mom can't wait for tonight.
