okay. the title is a big fib! this has seriously slowed my walking down. :)
it looks like a moon boot to me so it seems i should be taking giant leaps for man/women kind. ummmm, not happening! (and yes those are my new green and purple flannel jammie pants i got for christmas, thank you)
Big deal i've got a new boot. I've been wearing some form of boot/brace on my ankle since July 2009.
This boot is different because I finally did the 'deed'. I had surgery last thursday on my peroneal tendon (both the brevis and the longus needed repair, if you're the kind of person to look those types of things up) and it does smart just a little. :)
I didn't realize I was such a sis. I used to tease Tony about what a sissie he was when he had surgery a few years ago and boy do I need to take all of that back! Yesterday morning I was crying under the covers because my ice machine that wraps around by leg wasn't working right. What a baby!! :-)
Of course Tony fixed it, as he has everything else! He was an amazingly patient caregiver (still is actually). I'm considering renting him out (after he gets all his photoshop done)(not really.) Jade has been a sweetie too. She even laid in bed with me and let me watch her play a game on her little hand held thingy ( i forget what it is called obviously)
and my sophie lynn has been my special companion. every time i take a nap, she takes a nap.... okay, maybe she's just acting like a normal dog but i can tell she's concerned. :-)
So, the Dr. says i'll wear this boot for 4 weeks and then a smaller brace for another 4 weeks and then after that i will be dancing around in these
i'm diggin' the green and brown ones in the back.
I haven't wore heels like that for quite a few months (maybe years) so i probably won't be dancing per say....
Anyway,
this long post has worn me out. I'm going to go take a nap and post some senior cuties tomorrow!
